Although practitioners of the mystic arts are scarce within the oftensuperstitious and religious lands of the West, many magi have made thepilgrimage from the Far East to see for themselves what horrors liebeneath the ruined Cathedral of Khanduras. The veiled Brotherhood ofthe Vizjerei, one of the eldest and most dominant mage-clans of theEast, has sent many of its acolytes to observe the dark eventsunfolding in Khanduras first hand.

The Vizjerei, known fortheir brightly colored turinash -or spirit-robeshave taken a keeninterest in both gathering knowledge of demons and seeing them slain.The Vizjerei elders hope that their acolytes will learn the secrets ofthe dark evil that they sense growing in the West and can destroy it.The possibility of discovering long-lost tomes of magical knowledgewithin the confines of the labyrinth has also captured the interest ofmany wandering Sorcerers.

Most magic in Khanduras is in theform of enchanted items and elixirs. The Eastern Sorcerers havedeveloped a greater understanding of spellcasting than the otherclasses, and while a Vizjerei neonate knows only the simplest of spellsto start, he can expect to rapidly grow in power as he discovers newincantations. All Sorcerers possess the ability to recharge spellstaves by drawing power from their surroundings and channeling themthrough the staff.

One thing I'd like to say is that I don't like that they got rid of the orb that she was carrying in the intro cinematic; the orb is very cool, imagine if she could use it as a weapon, not just melee but have it fly around her or shoot out like a projectile, maybe add some sort of magic effects etc.

Anyone remember Amakusa from Samuri Shodown?

I agree with you fully, the orb was pretty damn cool! They could keep it, it could attract other peoples eyes too!

if not for weapon, they should use it a a skill... imagine that several of theese orbs are floating around you, and when a monster comes near, it electrocutes him.....aaaannd with a skill rune it stuns him too

Interesting idea, the orb would act has a shield instead of weapon.
