Most of the game mechanics and physics are complete, and are undergoing minor revisions. Most of the current and remaining development will focus on adding game content.

Jay Wilson
Lead Designer of Diablo 3
Before coming to Blizzard, J.W. worked for Relic Entertainment and was the lead designer for WFRP 40k: Dawn of War, an inspired RTS game based in the future. Diablo 3 is a wonderful chance to plant his roots firmly in the history of Blizzard Entertainment, and the Hack n' Slash genre. Wilson has worked on many projects, most notably to Blizzard fans, World of Warcraft. There is even a NPC named in his honor, Ja'y Nosliw.

Leonard Boyarsky
Lead World Designer of Diablo 3
L.B. is a well known computer game designer and visual artist for being one of the key designers of the video game Fallout. He was working at Interplay Entertainment in 1992 before leaving Interplay to form Troika Games with Tim Cain and Jason D. Anderson, he designed the overall gameplay refinements and main story arc/quests/areas/characters for Fallout 2 in 1998. He was the project leader, art director, designer/writer and CEO of Troika Games from 1998-2005, [Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura |Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines.] He joined the Diablo 3 team in 2006 to work on the story and RPG elements of Diablo III.

Artistic Director
C.L. from the beginning dealt with what interested him the most: comic books and video games. In the 90s, he was coloring pages and covers of Marvel Comics. Soon, he began to draw them; Spider-Man and Wolverine. He worked on games including the concepts of Darksiders a few years ago, but joined the Diablo 3 team relatively late - in the year 2008-09.
Micah Whipple (Bashiok)
Community Manager
Bashiok is an important part of the Blizzard team. He keeps watch over the official game forums and often informs fans of the intentions and ideas of the company. Prior to joining the section, Diablo 3, Bashiok fulfill a similar function on the forums of World of Warcraft under the pseudonym Drysc.
Julian Love
Principal Technical Graphics
As a bridge between graphic designers and programmers in Diablo 3, J.L. endeavor to artwork created by artists and concepts have been translated into computer graphics in the game. He implemented the visual effects in Diablo 3 such as for example animations dying monsters. He has worked at Blizzard since 2003.
Ray Gresko
Production Manager
In 1993-1998, he worked for LucasArts Entertainment as a programmer and designer of both parts of Dark Forces and Jedi Knight: mots. He is the founder of Nihilistic Software - Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption. Soon after the suspension of production on StarCraft: Ghost by Nihilistic, the team went onto Diablo 3.
Christopher Metzen
Vice Creative Department
C.M has been with Blizzard since the first installment of Warcraft. He is responsible for a number of concepts for the Diablo series, but his main occupation is devising the plot. Books set in the world of Sanctuary is a product of imagination, not only by other writers but also by C.M. The stories depicted in all series of the company is part of its ideas and influences.
Russell Brower
Music Composer
R.B. is a music composer and three-time Emmy Award-winning sound designer who has created sounds for Animaniacs and Batman: The Animated Series and video game music for Warcraft III, World of Warcraft, World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade, World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King and Diablo III. Currently the Director of Audio/Video for Blizzard Entertainment, he previously worked as the Audio Director at NovaLogic and the Principal Media Designer at Walt Disney Imagineering.
Michael Nicholson
Senior Graphic and Interface Designer
Mike has an extensive experience background in the gaming industry, particularly in terms of creating an interface. He began in 1994 as a designer and graphic artist in DreamForge (ex. Sanitarium), Interplay in 2001, when the company benefited from the editorial assistance of Vivendi. He created interfaces for Matrix Online, Condemned, Vanguard: Saga of Heroes and Giants. Blizzard feeds the ranks since 2006.
